Construction was completed in 2002 at a cost of over $13M, a sizable sum in the Caribbean. The interior is something that you don’t see at many Caribbean casinos. Inside you’ll see furnishings quite similar as the Ritz Carlton in London. Once you are able to draw your eyes away from the incredible finishes, you’ll realize that the view of Jolly Harbour is a sight in itself. While some casinos play by arbitrary rules, or by rules that are somewhat sketchy, the Princess abides by internationally recognized rules of gaming and mimics many of the traits found in a Vegas casino. After all, the owner is an American. A gaming inspector is on the floor at all times and random card audits are conducted on a regular basis. Staff are a mix of Antiguan and UK nationals. They take their time dealing, allowing you to enjoy the game as it’s played and not over run you. Overall the facility receives thumbs up.
